The Anthropocene relates to a proposed geological epoch during which time human activities have become a dominant force upon the Earths geological and ecological processes. The concept of the Anthropocene recognises that human actions have significantly altered the planet's atmosphere, oceans, land and ecosystems. This work was shot on 25 year old, expired Medium Format Infrared film. Infrared film captures light wavelengths invisible to the human eye. I see this work and process as an insight into the apocalyptic future of our landscapes if we don't take care of our planet.
