Ayog, found begging with his family in Kathmandu in 2010, had his life transformed by a small NGO. They relocated his family from a jungle hut to an apartment, enrolled Ayog and his sister in school, and provided vocational training for his parents. Tragically, his mother passed away in 2015 and his father in 2017. Severely burned by his father at the age of 2, Ayog endured years of treatment, including skin grafts and multiple surgeries. Despite immense hardships, Ayog’s resilience shines. He dreams of studying to become an environmentalist, hoping to heal the world he grew up in.
