John Yu, Camberwell Station and its Stationmaster (PLACES 2022)

I did a mini project in 2021 to document some of Melbourne's railway stations in case they went through further redevelopment. One of them is the Camberwell railway station which is only 10 minutes walk from my work place. It is one of the remaining few built in the Federation style dating back to 1910s. On the day, while I was setting up the camera at this spot, the stationmaster came out of his office, pointed at someone at the gates and started talking. I was too far away to hear the conversation. But I quickly took a few shots and this is the one I like most.
