Deborah Walker, Done for the Day (PLACES 2023)

Lakes Entrance on the eastern coast of Victoria, Australia is predominantly a fishing town. The fishing fleets always catch the eyes of those who are wondering along the waterfront. Seeing the boats lined up at rest made me wonder what sort of day they'd had. Had the weather been good and their nets overflowing with fish or had the weather been bad and they had come home with not much to show for their efforts. Either way, it was good to see them all back safely in the harbour.
