Prendergast (Caboolture) is a woman at the forefront of science. She is a conservationist and bee ecologist who studies biodiversity of native bees and pollination networks in urban areas. This photograph reverses the traditional concepts of subject and focus by directing the eye toward Dr Prendergast’s passion.
