Lucy Yunxi Hu, Fly Me To The Moon (PLACES 2023)

This image captures the moon trail over half an hour as it passes through the Telstra Tower in ACT, Australia, using a 300mm lens. The image showcases the gradual shift in the color of the rising moon, transitioning from a golden-red hue to yellow-white, which was then converted to monochrome. A 10-Step Neutral-density filter was employed to capture the moon trail, while HDR exposures were utilized for the foreground. The image was taken on January 7th, 2023.
