Ngaire Hart, Giant Petrel (ANIMALS 2025)

This Giant Petrel was sitting waiting to feed between the Penguins and Seals on Macquarie Island, a World UNESCO Heritage Site, 1/2 way between Australia and Antartica that we visited over Christmas 2024. A maximum of 1000 people only are allowed and need a Department of Conservation Officer (from NZ) with them at all times.
