Yi Cao, Honeyeater Feeding (ANIMALS 2024)
It was a hot summer day that we were camping near Loddon River, a lot of birds around including Honeyeaters, all very active and noisy. By 7am, the sun rose up to the height that sunlight was able to penetrate through tall foliage of the bush. I love to take backlit photos so raised my camera to the direction of the sun and focused on the birds that jumped up and down or interacted with each other. I was thrilled to have got this backlit honeyeater photo, at the right moment.
