Samuel Strong, Lest We Forget (PEOPLE 2023)

This image was taken on Anzac Day 2023. A huge group of sailors were waiting for the march to take place, talking with eachother and other service men and women. Walking through the crowd I noticed one sailor carrying the lifebuoy for his ship. While others were chatting he seemed distant and I felt like what that day represents was truly resonating with him. Lest We Forget.
