Barnaby Ogden, Old Wood (PLACES 2024)
The twisting, naked trees of Tandle Hill, Manchester, create the illusion of the branches snaking and wrapping around each other in a dark yet natural dance. Originally shot in full sunlight, the vivid greens have now been reduced to a shadowy grey, which I personally think adds to the atmosphere of a forest without leaves.
