This image of artist/master printmaker/assembler, Glen Skien contributes to a growing catalogue of photographs that document the processes and private sanctuaries of the artist. A personal project and one-time 2015 solo exhibition at Gympie Regional Gallery, ‘Artists of the Atelier’. Early April 2023 there was an urgency to make his portrait, to document this significant artist in his Brisbane studio, housed within the historic Avalon apartments. Contact was made, hesitant but curious, he agreed.
