Ngaire Hart, Subantartic Royal Penguins breeding (ANIMALS 2025)

I was privilaged to go to Macquarie Island, part of the Subantartic Islands 1/2 way to Subantartica. These are male Royals, with eggs on their feet. It is a major breeding ground with approxmately 150,000 - 170,000 pairs.
