Denise Lawry, The Chapel at Wybalenna, Flinders Island (PLACES 2024)

This is the historical chapel at Wybalenna (Black Man's House) at Emita on Flinders Island, Tasmania. There is a tragic history behind this church, that sits on a site where hundreds of Tasmanian Aborigines died, while waiting to return to their traditional country on the mainland, during the mid nineteenth century.
