Lucy Yunxi Hu, The Little Planet Within the Universe (PLACES 2023)

This image was captured at the National Arboretum in Canberra, Australia. I used a 20mm prime lens to create a captivating 360-degree panorama. It mimics the effect of a little planet within the vast universe. The swirling clouds in the sky create an ethereal sense of a nebula. On the left, the Moon is accompanied by Venus, while the Southern Cross graces the bottom right. The Telstra Tower, adorned with city lights, can be seen in the foreground at the top right. The image was taken on May 24th, 2023.
