Tiani Dun, Turtle's Breath (ANIMALS 2022)

Holding mine so not to startle her, I wait for the turtle to come up to breathe. Her breath reminds us that we are not so different from one another. Turtles need both clean air and water to survive. Equally, we need the same things. Turtle Breath represents the duality of our world, the connection between land and sea, and the importance of protecting it.
